Resume builder FAQ
Do I need an account to build a resume?
No. You can start right away without an email, password or credit card. You only connect your Google account if you want to back up your resume to your own Google Drive.
Where is my resume stored?
Only in this browser. Your resume data is not saved on our servers. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, your resume won’t be there, so use the Google Drive backup or download your resume.
Can I upload my existing resume and edit it?
Yes. Import a PDF or Word (.docx) file and its contents are placed into the matching fields for you to review and edit. The file is only read, never stored on the server.
What does the AI do to my resume?
It only runs when you start a feature: it rewrites casual sentences in professional language, suggests a summary and skills, and compares your keywords with a job posting. It works from what you wrote and never adds numbers, dates or achievements you didn’t give it.
Can I create more than one resume?
Yes. Create separate resumes for different roles and switch between them. You can also create an English translation of a resume as a separate copy; the original stays unchanged.
What if my resume runs longer than one page?
The PDF is A4 and becomes multi-page when needed. The preview shows the page breaks; to fit on one page, try the Compact template or tighter section spacing.
