A Resume Builder That Respects Your Privacy

Our story

Cvbuildly was born to solve a problem job seekers know too well: having to choose between privacy and convenience.

Many resume tools store your personal information on their servers and aren’t transparent about how it’s used. Some look free but may use your data for marketing or share it with third parties.

We chose a different path. Cvbuildly is local-first: your resume is never stored on our servers. You don’t need an account, and the content of your resume is never stored in our database; only messages you send through the contact form and blog comments are stored.

Your resume is kept in your browser. When you create a PDF, the resume is sent to our server for that one request, processed in memory and not saved anywhere. When you use an AI feature, only the relevant text is passed to our AI provider (Groq) to generate the answer. You can back up your resume to your own Google Drive if you like, and that stays entirely under your control.

Why is it free?

Job hunting is stressful enough. You shouldn’t have to pay to create a solid resume. That’s why every Cvbuildly feature is free: no watermark, no subscription, no paywall.

Where we’re headed

We want to build a platform where you can use the power of AI without giving up your privacy. Our AI writing features are the first step. Over time we’ll add more AI features, more templates, and more languages, all while keeping our privacy-first architecture.
